Straight Street serves adult men who are ready to do the work of sustained recovery in a structured, accountable community setting. We don't require perfection — we require commitment.
18 years of age or older. No upper age limit.
Must be sober at time of move-in. Prior to intake, all residents are assessed for current sobriety. Random drug screening applies throughout residency.
Minimum 90-day commitment. Month-to-month thereafter. Short-stay placements considered on a case-by-case basis.
Must be willing to follow house rules, attend required community meetings, and actively pursue employment or recovery programming.
Residents with pending charges, probation, or parole are considered. We coordinate with supervising officers. Sex offenders cannot be accepted.
Residents with co-occurring mental health diagnoses are welcome provided they are stable and not a danger to themselves or others. We are not a licensed clinical facility.
Straight Street is structured sober living — not a treatment program, and not a shelter. It's a supervised community where men in recovery live together under a clear set of expectations, with accountability built into the environment itself.
The goal is to bridge the gap between treatment and independent living. Residents learn to hold a job, manage finances, maintain relationships, and stay sober — with a community around them that makes it harder to slip and easier to rebuild.
